Sois Belle et Tais toi (Be pretty and shut up) denounces the negative impact of the beauty injunction on women’s rights. Here again, the artist approach is based on a personal experience and invites women to free from injunctions.

The injunction to beauty standard is one of the many psychological and physical violences we suffer as women. Clemence Vazard addresses this issue through a performance.

She traces the outline of her body with lipstick on a mirror, reminiscent of the traces left on the crime scenes and engages the audience to free from the representation norms.
